Some other beautiful collection from Adina. I feel this one is quite a bit unlike to the others too, it seems brighter somehow. Mayhap this is due to the lovely pastel colours of iii of the shades and the fact they are all holographic. There accept been fully holographic collections in the past only they all seemed very argent-toned whereas the green and blue in this one definitely bound out and Nocturne just adds in a startling contrast with the dark, almost blackness vibe.
The colours themselves are inspired by the painting "Carnation Lily Lily Rose" past John Sargent and the names are from ane of his contemporaries, James Whistler. The collection truly screams spring/summertime even just in the well-nigh basic light but in one case you get them out in straight sunlight you go the usual astonishing holographic effect yous tin come up to expect from an A England polish.
For those of you in the UK these are now all available on shop.polishedpevil.com individually or every bit the total collection. So go check below for the pictures and fall in love! I've as well put some comparing pictures on for 3 of the shades where I felt it necessary.
Starting time up is "Carnation Lily Lily Rose", a beautiful silver with the classic A England rainbow holographic finish. Whilst I do love this 1 I don't feel it'southward anything particularly new and and then it'south my least favourite of the collection. The formula is a lot more sheer than usual and I constitute I needed 3 coats to fully cover my nails.
I felt this needed a comparing with some of the other silverish holographics in the A England range. I have put it next to Fonteyn and too Encore Margot. The difference is subtle it must exist said merely I find that Fonteyn has a slightly more pinkish undertone and Carnation Lily Lily Rose has a slight blue undertone. Encore Margot seems the more than 'pure' silver to me.
Side by side up is Nocturne. Not a particularly summery colour merely ane I honey. It's described as a "rouge noir" and definitely lives up to its name. On the nails in general lighting it nigh looks a pure black and is quite unimpressive merely get information technology in sunlight and wow! A myriad of gold and crimson flecks flare-up into life and it is truly stunning. This is my second favourite in the drove and is more than like the usual formula so is hands just a i coat wonder.
I felt it needed a comparison to Incense Burner and In Robe and Crown. My pictures don't actually practice information technology justice. Nocturne is darker than the other two and less bronzy whilst Incense Burner has the aureate/green shimmer to it and In Robe and Crown is more of a silvered cease.
This beautiful baby blue has been the main winner at my role and you can encounter why, it really is beautiful. I do love it but of class the green beats it for me. This gorgeous shade is lovely enough on its ain but as usual has the astonishing rainbow holographic effect in sunlight. As the proper name suggests the holographic event is more of a silvery ane which really sets off the blue beautifully. Information technology makes me call up of summertime skies with glints of silvery clouds. Again this is quite sheer and definitely needs iii coats to get a proper coverage.
Once again I felt this needed a comparing, this time with Captive Goddess. It is quite different though, Convict Goddess is more of a purple finish whilst Symphony seems more of a 'truthful' blue.
Finally we come to (surprise) my favourite, Symphony in Green and Golden. This one is merely purely stunning, an amazing, fresh, minty light-green with a glorious sunburst of gold in sunlight. I evidently had to wear this one kickoff and information technology really impressed me. I was lucky enough to be wearing it during a couple of really sunny days and it shone. Every time the low-cal caught it I had to stare. It as well lasted pretty well; 4 days and with merely a tiny chip in 1 corner which to be honest you couldn't fifty-fifty tell was at that place thank you to the fact it's a pale smooth anyway. Like the other two paler colours information technology is a sheer formula and needed three coats.
No need for any comparisons on this one equally it'south completely dissimilar the other greens released so instead y'all become 2 bonus shots of it in the lord's day.
